What fed it: pruned low-intent ad traffic, a full month of the dual offer, and a comms touch every few days through the back half of the month. The next slides are that comms stack.

Same content, two audiences. Paying customers open feature news at two to four times the rate of the trial and free list, so that list gets the offer angle, not the feature angle.

Inbox in-app runs to about 10 Sep. Open rates are human opens, prefetch excluded.

Pricing · the 9 October step-up

720 legacy accounts hit full price on 9 October. Hold the date, soften the step.

These accounts have been on a discounted Advanced rate. At the cliff their bill rises 60 to 70% in one go, and support carries the fallout. We tested a way through with 40 of them, and modelled how to land the rest.

Cost of softening
About $34k less than a flat delay to January (estimate). Pays for itself if it saves 5.8 points of churn.
What it needs
A yes on the sequence, and Julian to confirm billing can time-box the 30% step. The memo is written.

Callum's steer on Tuesday: bundle texting into Advanced and let the plan price carry it, rather than selling an add-on to existing customers. Plus keeps a $7.50 monthly, $6 annual add-on, profitable from month two against about $3 a month in number and verification costs.

Still to settle before sign-off: adoption and volume. PostHog has no SMS events yet, so that read comes from Twilio or Tim's backend.

Templates are now the biggest barrier to activation. This carousel sits beside Zoe's setup design and shows the three concepts new users miss, each as a working micro-demo. Picks are made; Leah builds next sprint.

Also landed this week: the default services catalogue updated from David's claims data (109 services, 59 with codes), the NPI signup packs revised to match, and client-facing copy for invoice and intake reminder defaults handed to Leah.

Next

Into September

Wellness closes Monday. SimplePractice outreach starts Monday. The October pricing sequence needs a decision in the first week.
